RTO Plus.Net For Windows Download

Thank you for requesting the RTO Plus.Net For Windows download. The download will require approximately 35 minutes using a cable or DSL modem depending on line quality, internet traffic, and other factors.

We recommend that you print this page for your reference!

Instructions For Download:

1. Click here to Download RTO Plus.Net For Windows (remember the directory where you have downloaded the file....normally this will be c:\temp or c:\windows\temp ...but remember where you save the file...it is very important!). You should save the program to a local or network hard disk drive, DO NOT run it on the web!
2. At this point, after the download is complete, you will be presented with a dialog box to either de-compress the program or exit. You should either select exit and then disconnect from the internet or select de-compress the program. If you select to decompress the program, the installation program will start. If you decide to de-compress the program, please then continue to #4 in this section and after you have completed the setup process, don't forget to log off the internet.
3. If you decided to not de-compress the program while still logged into the internet, first log off the internet, and then from the Windows Task Bar, select Start, then Run, then key in the drive, directory and rtoplus.exe from the directory in which you saved the file. For example in the run dialog box your selection might be c:\temp\rtoplus.exe. Assuming you saved the rtoplus.exe file in the temp directory.
4. The RTO Plus.Net files will then de-compress the files into this directory. After the files are de-compressed, you will be presented with the RTO Plus.Net for Windows setup process.
5. You will need to call us at RTO Plus.Net during the setup process. We can give you valuable information to ease your installation process.  Also, there is a pre-registration number that we must issue to you in order to start the installation process.
6. If you have not already done so, please log off the internet!
7. Please select the default directories for the RTO Plus.Net program files (which should be c:\rtoplus) The RTO Plus.Net data files will be created/copied into the c:\rtoplus\rtodata subdirectory (assuming you installed RTO Plus.Net to the default directory. Even if you are on a network, the data files should still be installed.
8. During the install program, you may receive an error that has to do with files that are being copied that are older than the ones you currently have.   Normally, you will choose to keep your existing file.  If there are any other errors that occur, click ignore or continue to complete the process (please don't click re-try or cancel).
9. Be sure to please call RTO Plus.Net for Windows for installation instructions regarding store setup and other parameters.....THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!....Our telephone number is:(704) 645-8320 and ask for Bob. If you are on a network (LAN), additional information will also be necessary, so someone familiar with your network (LAN) should be available.
10. After the installation and store setup processes are complete, start RTO Plus.Net for Windows, review your item category listings, and add any merchandise vendors and/or valid location listings.  You should also review the help files. To do this, at the RTO Plus.Net main menu screen, click Help, and then Contents. You may then select an area of interest to you and your staff. You have the option of printing individual help pages if you wish.  You may also review the help files by clicking here and viewing the files via our web site.
