Is the first Rent to Own store management software to
include automated integrated real-time internet maps
based on your customer's address or any other address
you key in. Of course, post office boxes may not
be mapped. Also, driving directions from your
location can be viewed. Any map or directions can
be printed out (Internet connection required for all
mapping).
Gives you peace of mind by providing an automated
data backup
process utilizing standard, inexpensive USB drive
sticks.
Generates pre-due date "statements" or payment
reminders to be emailed to your customers based on their
agreement due date and includes all agreements
regardless of when the other agreements come due (SMTP
server info and setup required).
Provides customer imaging utilizing Twain compliant
devices including scanners, cameras, and web cams.
There is no limit as to the number of images that can be
saved. For example, you might want to scan in the
customer's driver's license using a flatbed scanner and
also take a picture of the customer with a web cam or
digital camera.
Has expanded the Receipt Detail Report to give the
operator the option of viewing/printing transactions
that have been posted since the last End Of Day (EOD)
run date. Since an EOD can contain transactions
from multiple dates, this is a useful tool to assist in
proving the day's close and reconciling an out of
balance cash drawer.
Has the ability to post payments to multiple
agreements in a single transaction.
Uses a software industry standard "open ended" database
which enables your data to be imported/exported to/from
other software products very easily. RTO Plus.Net
for Windows utilizes the Microsoft Access/Jet database
engine and your information can be merged into other
software products such as Word, Excel, Access, and many
others almost effortlessly! You can generate your
own non-standard reports if you wish from Excel, print
out mailing labels from Word that are sorted by zip code
and filtered for those that have a balance of greater
than $100.00, for example. The possibilities are
endless thanks to RTO Plus.Net for Windows open ended
design!
Can post payments that are "odd". In other words, any
payment that is not an exact multiple of a normal
payment is considered an "Odd Payment". The computer
pro-rates the rent, waiver, late fees, and due date and
takes the guess work out of non-standard payments.
Gives the user the option of adjusting late fees and
accumulating un-collected late fees into a "Late Balance"
database field.
Can also post to "Late Balance" only.
Can post to Rent only thereby excluding waiver and late fees.
Calculates the exact amounts due in order to get past
due customers current.
Calculates "Early Buyout" amounts for your
agreements based on the criteria and formula your
company provides us and at the same time performs "Same As Cash"
buyout calculations if your company offers your
customers this option. Also, if your company
offers Same as Cash buyouts, you can set SAC time
periods for each agreement independently. For
example, your company default SAC option may be 90 days
but you have the option of selecting a different SAC
time period during agreement creation...say 60 or even
120 days SAC.
Allows the operator to adjust the number of payments
being posted.
Asks the operator if he/she wishes to enter a
commitment date after posting agreements that are
still past due.
Allows the operator to post special "Coupon" payments
and also "Free Time".
Maintains debit and credit balances and alerts the
operator utilizing a special "flag" from
within the Payment Screen. The operator can
then post to/from these balances without affecting the
regular agreement balance.
Can post "Other Income" from a variety of sources.
Customer payment histories are maintained even on
closed out agreements.
Allows the operator to post payments to closed
agreements.
Provides a "Receipt Detail Report" for a user
definable period of time, detailing all income and
expenses and the agreement details pertaining to the
transaction.
Also, RTO Plus.Net for Windows provides you with a
"Transaction Detail Report" for a user definable time
period. This Transaction Detail Report shows
exactly how an amount was posted to multiple agreements
through a single posting session. For example, how
the $200.00 your customer paid you was allocated to each
of his agreements that you selected during the posting
process.
Shows agreements in a user defined color if the
agreement happens to be either past due, have an
outstanding bad check, be nearing the agreement end, or
if no checks are to be accepted from this customer.
You also decide the priority of the color scheme.
Allows for the "Cash Sale" of inventory items with a
suggested "Cash Sale Price" based on formulas that you
provide.
Allows for the "Cash Sale" of non-inventory items.
Has the ability to "Return a Sold Item" which returns
it to inventory and adjusts the cash drawer.
Handles "Store Payouts" or expenses such as gas for
the delivery vehicle.
Can accept customer deposits and creates an "Escrow
Account" for the customer. A purchase order is created
during the same process. This is mainly used for special
orders. Other types of customer/agreement deposits are handled
as well, based on your individual company criteria and
policy.
Has the ability to utilize "Small Receipt Printers"
such as the Star TSP-100 and also "Electronic Cash Drawers".
Allows you to view agreement information and customer
information directly from the payment screen. You can
also make changes to certain fields in the customer data
screen here.
"Early Buyout" calculations are also displayed in the
"Payment Screen" and the agreement can be paid off from
here. The "Early Buyout" calculation is based upon your
method or formula and is coded into the software
individually for each and every one of our clients.
Can create rent to own agreements, rent to rent
agreements, lay away agreements, and also sales finance or
retail installment agreements.
Is completely network ready with no other fees when
you are ready to add additional computers to your
licensed location.
Is Internet ready for multi-store/real time data
processing. This gives you the ability to post payments
to agreements that "belong" to another location, rent
items that are physically located at other locations, and even
terminate agreements that originated elsewhere. Your own
store’s information such as your results or income is
kept in local files and does not interfere with other
locations. There are no extra costs to you from RTO
Plus.Net for Windows for this feature.
Does not restrict you as to the number of customers,
agreements, or items per agreement. Available hard drive
space is the only restricting factor.
Generates your rental agreement based upon your
existing agreement. We code in your agreement wording at
no extra charge to you and then your agreement prints on plain paper...no
more expensive pre-printed multi-part forms to buy.
Allows you to assign customers to a "Route Code" that
you define. "Route Codes" can even contain a different
sales tax rate than the store’s location and you can
print reports, such as "Sales Tax Collected" based upon
"Route Code".
Notes are very important and RTO Plus.Net for Windows
offers 2 different types…"Customer Notes" and "Agreement
Notes". Each performs a different service where as
"Customer Notes" apply to all of the customer’s
agreements and "Agreement Notes" apply only to the
agreement you happen to be working on.
Also maintains "Store Notes". This is your appointment
scheduler. 15 minutes prior to an appointment,
the software will alert you to the fact that you have a
note that needs to be looked at. We call this a
"Tickler".
You may complete a potential customer’s rental order
via the computer with all of the information that is
standard to the industry. You may also enter up to 4 personal
references each containing a field for notes that is
unlimited.
Allows you to enter a co-maker with each rental as
well as a spouse. There are cases in which a co-maker is
not the spouse (mother/son, for example). Complete information on both is available.
Has a built in "Purchase Order System" for ordering
and receiving merchandise and reporting based on your
vendors is a keystroke away.
A closed agreement may be re-opened if need be. Also,
payments may be posted to closed accounts without having
to re-open the agreement.
Makes on screen collections a snap. From the "Work
Delinquency" screen, commitments may be entered, "Field
Collection" reports printed, and you can play "What If"
where different due dates or different payment amounts
may be tested to see what the customer’s options are.
"Broken Commitment" reporting is standard with RTO
Plus.Net for Windows.
"Field Collection Letters" are available with many
options as to sorting and filtering so you can select
the category of past due customer you wish to send a
letter to.
"Happy Birthday Letters" are also available to send
to your customers as well as many other types of
solicitation letters.
Provides a multitude of reports available…everything
from delinquency reports to inventory reports to
income/expense reports to customer master listings. The
number of reports available is staggering and all
reports have
a variety of ways to filter and sort the records.
Print "Delivery Receipts" for the customer to sign
with each rental if you wish. Also, an optional
"Agreement Summary" form may be printed.
Prints "Payment Coupons" for the agreement if you
wish.
Handles "Inventory Transfers" with accountability for
both sending and receiving locations.
Lets you search for specific inventory based on
either "Category", "Sub-Category", "Brand", "Model",
"Serial", "Item Number", or "Item ID (Skew) Number".
Prints a "Physical Inventory Count Report" to assist
you in your taking a physical inventory along with
providing suggested rental rates and cash sale prices.
Prints your "Traffic Activity" or inventory movement
report based upon a single date or range of dates.
Has On-Screen help available.
Has what we call a "General Ledger Posting Report".
This is a double entry general ledger report for either
your accountant's usage or to be posted into such
accounting programs as Quick Books. This report also
creates an ASCII file which many accounting programs can
import and post.
Has database repair, compression, backup, and
maintenance routines built in.
You provide us with your formulas for determining
"Cash Sale" price, rental rates, terms, and early buyout
calculations. We then code them into the software to
provide you with suggested amounts for your day to day
operations…all this is done with no additional fees.
You can add on additional items to an existing
agreement without terminating the existing agreement and re-creating
a new agreement.
Has an agreement re-print feature. An example is with
the "Agreement Item Add-On" process with which a new agreement needs to
be printed and re-signed by the customer to reflect the additional item
and normally, a change in agreement terms.
Prints Payment Coupons on demand with the store's name,
address, and phone number as well as the customer's name
and item, payment number, due date and other agreement
information.
Has an advanced "Global Customer Search" function.
This feature can help you locate customers when only
limited information is available.
Allows you to maintain "In Service" and "On Loan"
inventory items.
Should you need to change out or swap an on-rent item, RTO
Plus.Net for Windows has an "Item Switch" feature.
You have the ability to create an agreement that has
a "Non-Inventory" item associated with it.
Chase Cards may be printed for a selected group of past dues
or for a single agreement.
You can perform "What If" scenarios with payment
needed to achieve a certain due date and the also the
opposite, the due date achieved with a certain payment.
Customer statements can be printed on demand.
Vendor Purchase Reports and Sales Tax Reports are
